Janet Hunter, Principal of Charterfield Consulting, has over 28 years of work experience, including three years on international assignments, three years as a program manager for a Canadian federal government agency, four years working with newcomers to Canada, and eighteen years in consulting. Janet’s assignments often call on her ability to review large amounts of information in a short time period, choose relevant material from her research, and present it in a clear, accessible format.
Janet is a professional writer with ESL/EFL teaching experience, a Certificate in Teaching English as a Second Language from Carleton University, and TESL Ontario certification. She has designed and presented educational programs at a wide range of historic sites and public places. She brings a solid understanding of adult and child learning principles, gained through her array of educational programming experience.
Janet provides a comprehensive range of services, beginning with audience needs assessment and the identification of learning objectives through design and piloting of learning materials to program evaluation. She develops resource books for teachers as well as teaching materials for a variety of levels. She researches and develops educational programs for museums and public places. Janet is also proficient in designing and conducting focus groups and training workshops.
Jean-Luc Charron, Principal of Charterfield Consulting, has Certification in Risk Management Assurance (CRMA) with 29 years work experience, including 20 years providing consulting services to the public sector. His main clientele has been the federal government.
Jean-Luc is a science major who transitioned to business consulting and has made his mark over the past 20 years, conducting management control framework audits and risk assessments, as well as developing performance measurement frameworks.
Jean-Luc is fluent in French and English and has a Secret Security Clearance with the federal government. |
